A potent storm system will move across the Texas Panhandle region during the morning to early afternoon hours Sunday.
Light snowfall accumulations between zero to one inch is currently expected, mainly along an east west line extending from Childress to Parmer County. The best potential will be across the northeastern Rolling Plains, though a mix of rain Horny people Laramie oh snow is expected to occur as temperatures hover near freezing.
Travel may become cty during the storm, but conditions will quickly improve during the early to middle afternoon hours Sunday as the system quickly moves olgan with clouds clearing before sunset.

Any wet ro, especially bridges and overpasses, that are not able to dry out may freeze overnight Sunday into Monday as temperatures fall into the lower teens. Light winds along with temperatures falling to near or below freezing late tonight, may allow for logqn fog and areas of black ice to develop. Motorists should drive with extra caution late tonight and very early Saturday morning.

Gusty south winds occurring across much of Cameron County this morning and afternoon A low-level jet continues to mix down the surface this morning with gusts of mph occurring near Brownsville and Harlingen as of 11 AM Citids. This activity will continue through late this afternoon when the pressure gradient will weaken and winds will gradually begin to relax slightly.
Motorists are urged to use caution if traveling in high-profile vehicles or in exposed locations such as the Queen Isabella Causeway.
Residents may also want to move lighter patio furniture or trash cans either indoors or into protected locations. Snowfall potential has increased for the Lake Tahoe area, especially above feet, as well as for areas north of Susanville and Lovelock for tonight into Saturday.

Another system is expected for Sunday and Sunday cify with additional snowfall impacts to travel expected in the Sierra and for northeast California. A light snowfall is possible elsewhere into western and west-central Nevada, especially in foothills above feet; however, impacts there are quite uncertain at this time.
A winter system over southwest Colorado Saturday afternoon will move across the Panhandles Sunday morning. Rain and snow across the western Oklahoma Panhandle and the northwest Texas Panhandle will quickly switch over to snow after midnight Saturday and then the snow will spread from northwest to southeast through the speeed morning hours on Sunday.

Snow will be likely across much of the Panhandles Sunday morning until about noon. In addition to the snow, a north wind will increase Sunday morning to 20 to 30 mph with higher gusts across the western Panhandles.
