However, a very excited Russell Vale team came from behind to take the Gold Pennant. The 3 teams in this Bronze competition had 2 lzdies games each. The Highlands' team and a Kiama team had a close contest for top position through the season, but with a win in the last match against Kiama at St Georges Basin Country Club, Highlands came out the victors.

This match provided a nail-biting finish, after one match continued to the 19th hole. It was a very close competition, with an exciting finish.
